First Lego Building Task

There are several steps toward building your first Lego Mindstorms building project. The task involves building a robot and programming it to give it “intelligence.” When you are finished, you should have a robot that will drive itself around the floor, following a black line.

• Instructions for building the “Taskbot.” Here are graphical instructions for building your first Lego robot in this course. DO NOT  use the paper instruction booklet that came with your kit. The robot you are going to build is more sophisticated.
• Lego Programming: Full Speed Ahead. Here, you will learn to write some simple programs to command the electric motors.
• Lego Programming: Right Face. Here is where you can get your robot to make turns while driving.
• Lego Programming: Follow the Line. Now it’s time to get your robot to follow a line.
